SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition fighter jets waged on Wednesday 42 strikes on several provinces over the past hours, inflicting heavy damage to citizens’ properties, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
In capital Sanaa, the combat jets waged nine strikes al-Raian hilltops in Haddah area and other areas in Matar district.
In Saada, the fighter jets launched eight air raids on Razih, al-Safra and Saher district, as well as Saada provincial capital city, leaving damage to citizen’s’ houses.
In Taiz, the Saudi-led air forces hit Mouza district three times.
In Jawf, al-Maton district was targeted in an strike of coalition.
In Bayda, dozens of livestock were killed when the warplanes hit al-Tafah and Thi Na’em districts three times.
In Hodeidah, the fighter jets waged four air attacks on Hais district and area of Ordh square.
In Lahj, two air strikes of the coalition hit Karash area.
In Amran, the combat jets waged five air raids Haraf Sufian district.
In HAJJAH, the coalition jets launched six air attacks on Medi and Abbs districts.
On Sunday 22 April, the coalition warplanes targeted a wedding party in Bani Qais area of Hajj province, killing 35 civilians and injuring 55 others, including 30 children.
The four-year-old coalition war on Yemen has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
