Parliament refuses to amend law establishing Heritage Fund

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The Parliament in its Tuesday meeting chaired by Speaker Yahya al-Ra’i discussed a draft amendment to the Article 11 of Law No. 11 of 2002 regarding the establishment of the Heritage, Development and Culture Fund.

The House decided not to amend the original text in the law in force, and instructed the Information and Culture Committee to ascertain the needs of the fund and see the existing amounts that it collects and their adequacy.
