UAE-backed STC militias seize oil fields in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Dec. 9 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias on Monday seized on oil fields in Yemen’s southern province of Shabwah, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that Nasser Ali Dariham al-Harathi, a commander in the STC, suspended companies operating in the oil fields in the north of Osaylan district and forced them to leave.
