Hammoud Al-Mekhlafi shows his influence on Saudis as hundreds of fighters withdrew from border fronts

TAIZ, Dec. 8 (YPA) – The gap between Islah Party  (The Yemeni branch of Muslim brotherhood) and the Saudis is widening, as the party’s leaders are delivering a lot of statements, confirming that the party and the Saudis are going on a path of irreversible differences.

The latest developments between the two sides were made on Saturday by Hammoud Saeed Al-Mekhlafi, one of the warlords of the coalition countries in the city of Taiz.

Hammoud al-Mekhlafi, who is currently in Turkey, posted a video footage on Twitter showing crowds who came back home from the Saudi borders.

He claimed “they are recruits returning from the southern border of Saudi Arabia to the city of Taiz.”

He said that a camp for returning recruits had been set up in Yafers area, one of the contact areas between the groups affiliated with the United Arab Emirates, “Abu Abbas”, and the militias of the Al-Islah Party, in al-Hujaryah areas, southwest of Taiz province.

This was seen by some observers as a dangerous sign of the party’s preparations for a new round of confrontations with their UAE opponents in Taiz province.

“It was the  Islah Party that mobilised recruits from the province to the holocaust to defend the Saudi borders, and it is also the one who can bring them back”, and the issue does not need to be bragged about by Hamoud Saeed Al-Mekhlafi, according to observers.

They added that the reaction of Hammoud al-Mekhlafi  is due to successive slaps by Saudi Arabia to the Reform Party, during the past two months.
