Dengue fever targets 736 people in Mahwait

MAHWAIT, Dec. 8 (YPA) – One person died and 736 others have been infected with dengue fever in several districts of Mahwait province since the beginning of 2019, according to a health office report on Sunday.

The report affirmed that 320 cases have been infected with malaria, while the rest the cases are under treatment in hospitals and health centers in the province.

It added that the dengue and malaria have targeted further the districts of Bani Saad, al-Khubt and Malhan in the same province because of their proximity to al-Hodeidah.
