NMC warns fishermen of cyclone in Socotra

SANAA, Dec. 5 (YPA) – The Yemeni National Meteorological Center (NMC) on Thursday warned ship masters, fishermen and seafarers of the serious weather conditions as a result of cyclone approaching Socotra archipelago.

The NMC affirmed that the expected speed of the cyclone storm reached 14 kilometers per hour accompanied by rain and thunderstorms in Socotra and the east of the Gulf of Aden.

It called on the local authorities to take the necessary measures from the impacts of the strong tropical storm to face any damage to lives and property.
