Update: Army shoots down 2 coalition spy aircraft near border

SANAA, Dec. 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s air defenses on Wednesday shot down a second spy plane of Saudi-led coalition in Saada province’s border district of Baqim off Asir region while conducting hostilities, in the army’s spokesman Brigadier Yahya Sarie said.

This came few hours after downing a spy aircraft of the coalition near the Yemeni-Saudi border off Jizan region.

On Saturday, the Yemeni air defenses shot down a Chinese-made Wing Long reconnaissance aircraft of the coalition by a surface-to-air missile in Hiran district of Hajjah province while conducting hostilities, according to the army spokesman.
