HADHRAMAUT, Nov. 29 (YPA) – Saudi-led Coalition forces prevented a plane belonging to the ” Yemenia Airways” from parking at Al-Rayyan International Airport in Mukalla City, in the eastern Yemeni province of Hadhramout, after the airport was opened, Media sources reported on Thursday.
The coalition forced the Yemenia plane to leave, and park at foreign airports. The company has paid a large fee for the airports in which the planes are staying at.
This because of the Saudi-led aggression coalition policy that prevents Yemenia aircraft from staying at Yemeni airports.
In a speech marking the resumption of flights at Al-Rayyan International Airport, Hadi’s Deputy Prime Minister Salem al-Khanbashi called on the coalition to allow the Yemenia planes to stay at Yemeni airports.
He also called for domestic and foreign flights to help alleviate the suffering of citizens.
Hadhramout’s Al-Rayyan International Airport resumed its civil flights after a stopover of more than four years.
Al-Rayyan International Airport is Yemen’s third largest airport, after Sanaa and Aden airports.
