SANAA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – Ministers of Transport and Finance, Zakaria al-Shami and Sharafuddin al-Kohlani on Tuesday discussed, in a meeting held in Sanaa, the situation of the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation and difficulties it faces in light of the aggression and siege.
The meeting, attended by the Corporation’s Chairman Mohammed Ishaq, reviewed the volume of the damage to the port of Hodeidah and its equipment due to the aggression bombing.
The meeting dealt with the commitments and pledges of international organizations to develop the port of Hodeidah, repair its damaged equipment and maintain its facilities.
The Minister of Transport stressed the need to exert more efforts to continue the work of the port and the provision of navigational services and facilities for ships arriving in the port.
