SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs Abdulqader Al-Mortada on Sunday said that the aggression coalition forces in Taiz province still hinder an initial exchange deal includes 135 prisoners and detainees from both sides.
“This deal was agreed upon more than a month ago, and names of the prisoners from both parties have been identified,” al-Mortada said, in a statement.
He confirmed the committee’s full readiness to implement the deal unconditionally as it is and without excluding anyone.
On Saturday, al-Mortada announced that the committee succeeded in liberating six prisoners of the army and popular committees in exchanges on fronts of Taiz, Marib, and the west coast through local mediation.
