Lebanese Hezbollah strongly condemns assassination of Al-Sammad

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah Party condemned in the strongest terms the assassination of President Saleh Al-Sammad by the US-Saudi aggression coalition, according to a statement issued by the party on Tuesday.

In its statement, the party expressed condolences to the leadership and the people of Yemen and to Ansarullah movement on the martyrdom of Al-Sammad.

The martyr was an exceptional man, assumed responsibility and faced the wildest aggression in the region, said the statement.

The party expressed its surprise and condemnation of the suspicious international silence towards the targeting of this large Yemeni symbol.

The statement called on the peoples of the world to solidarity with the oppressed Yemeni people and to expose the US-Saudi aggression.
