Meeting in Hodeidah discusses action plan to fight dengue, malaria

HODEIDAH, Nov. 18 (YPA) – A meeting was held on Sunday in Hodeidah province and included representatives of the province, Deputy Director of the Health Office, and a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The meeting discussed ways to develop an action plan in the province to face the outbreak of dengue fever and malaria diseases in a number of districts, and the needs of health centers in those districts, including medical supplies, medicines and health cadres.

The meeting also touched on the health challenges in Tihama plain regarding mosquito-borne infectious diseases and other vectors.
