Fierce clashes in Aden after attempt to storm fishing port

ADEN, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Fierce clashes erupted Saturday in the fishing port of Aden, southern Yemen.

According to sources, the clashes erupted between militia of the former security director of Aden Shallal Shaya loyal to the UAE stationed in the port and the so-called facilities protection force after the latter stormed the fishing port in an attempt to impose control over the port.

The protection force stormed the port under the pretext of implementing the Riyadh agreement, and the two sides exchanged fire from various types of weapons, the sources explained.
