Hadi’s advisor fears Saudi betrayal of “legitimacy”

SANAA, Nov. 14 (YPA) – After international media reported that there is a peace talks in Oman between Sanaa and Riyadh. Hadi’s advisor, Abdul Aziz al-Jabbari, expressed a shocking position on the status of the “Hadi’s government” of those talks, stressing that there are fears of Saudi betrayal of Hadi’s “legitimacy.”

“The government of legitimacy has remained in the dark about what the Saudis are negotiating with the Houthis,” al- Jabbari told The Associated Press.

Jabbari also expressed his fear that Saudi Arabia would be able to contact a deal with the Houthis to end the war in areas under their control, saying that “this would be a grave mistake and deeply regrettable on the part of the Saudis.”

In a report published Wednesday, officials from both sides said that talks are taking place in Oman, between Sanaa and Riyadh, which began last September, after the two Saudi Aramco facilities were hit by Yemeni drones, which led to the suspension of supplies of Global oil is hugely.

“Saudi Arabia’s main concerns include the dismantling of Ansarullah’s missile capabilities, drones, and the security of the kingdom’s borders,” former Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Jabbari who is in Oman, was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.

The talks are focused on several temporary objectives, like the opening of Sanaa International Airport, which has been closed by the coalition since 2016, according to The Associated Press.

In addition, discussions sought the establishment of a buffer zone along the Yemeni-Saudi border in areas under the control of the Sanaa government.
