Video: Multiple stabbings as assailants attack music stage in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – Unknown assailants on Monday evening attacked a performance group in the al-Malaz park in Riyadh, according to videos posted on social media platforms.

The footage showed a band in bright and tight costumes performing on stage, as people gathered around to watch when two people attacked the band members on the stage.

A number of the band and the attackers were wounded, while the Saudi Red Crescent said that the attack resulted in four stabbings, without specifying the identity of the injured.

The show is part of Riyadh’s entertainment season, which runs until mid-December and has sparked controversy amongst conservatives.
