SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – Prime Minister Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor on Monday stressed the government’s keenness to strengthen the valuable roles of the civil service and support it to overcome the challenges faced and affected its ability to carry out its duties towards society as required.
The move came during a meeting gathered Prime Minster and the head of Civil Registry Authority (CRA), Major General Mohammed al-Hakim.
The head of CRA briefed the activities of the department and the difficulties it faces as a result of the repercussions of the Saudi-led aggression and blockade, as well as the efforts made with the support of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior.
He stressed the importance of government’s support for the department to overcome the existing difficulties, especially those that intersect with a number of government agencies.
The meeting touched on aspects related to strengthening cooperation between the department and relevant international organizations, particularly UNICEF, enabling the department to carry out its vital national and social functions, including the registration of births in the capital and other provinces.
