There is no oil derivatives crisis at all: YPC

SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) in the capital Sanaa on Sunday reassured citizens that there is no crisis of oil derivatives.

“The supply situation is stable and there is no oil derivatives crisis at all,” said Abdullah al-Ashbat, director of the company’s branch in the capital Sanaa.

Al-Ashbat explained that there was an increasing demand for oil derivatives and that additional quantities were provided to cover citizens’ needs in the capital Sanaa.

It is noteworthy that the company announced on Saturday that “the aggression coalition has been holding at the sea eight ships carrying 53,321 tons of gasoline and 145,327 tons of diesel for 35 days, despite the United Nations had inspected and licensed them.”
