Deputy PM opens Obstetrics Center at Al-Salkhana Hospital in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs Dr. Hussein Maqbouli on Sunday opened the Obstetric Emergency Center at Al-Salakhana Hospital in al-Hali district of Hodeidah province, funded by Save the Children International organization.

During the inauguration, Dr. Maqbouli listened to an explanation from the Public Health Office’s officials in the province and the district about the center components and its equipment.

The officials pointed out that the center would contribute to alleviate the pressures faced by the emergency obstetric center at the Public Al-Thawra Hospital in the city of Hodeidah.
