Riyadh agreement confirms illegality of aggression on Yemen: al-Houthi
SANAA, Nov. 6 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council’s Member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi on Tuesday said the aggression coalition had foiled Mövenpick Agreement concluded under the UN umbrella before starting its aggression under the pretext of the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism.
Al-Houthi affirmed, in a statement, that the so-called Riyadh agreement although it does not concern the Yemeni people, because it was between two parties of the aggression agents, but it confirms that illegality of the justifications under which the coalition waged its aggression against the Republic of Yemen.
He indicated that there is a Saudi-Emirati dispute that had reached the level of fighting between their militias hired from Yemen, for which the Saudi regime pressured the Emirati regime to get out of Yemen.
“Indeed, the Saudi regime has beaten the UAE and thanked it for their service and the Emirati forces were replaced with Saudi forces”, he said. “The Saudi regime has delayed the agreement for almost 60 days, which is more like a democratic transition.”
Al-Houthi explained that “if the agreement was in the interest of Yemen and not as a result of the dispute, it would be convincing and it would have been declared without war.”
