NDC: Response to president’s assassination will be strong

SANAA, April 23 (YPA) – The National Defense Council (NDC) confirmed on Monday that the response to the Saudi-led coalition’s crimes, the latest of which is the assassination of President Saleh al-Sammad, will be deterrent and strong.

This came during the council’s extraordinary meeting, during which it announced the state of alert and raising readiness to maximum.

In its meeting, the NDC listened to the decision issued by the Supreme Political Council on selecting Mahdi Al-Mashat as president for the next session.

The defense council affirmed that Yemen is stronger today and more steadfast in the face of the aggression coalition and its crimes.
