Saudi Arabia breaks STC’s sit-ins in Socotra

SANAA, Nov. 4 (YPA) – Saudi occupation forces forced the leaders of UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Socotra province on Monday to lift sit-in camps, according to local sources.

The sources said that Saudi Arabia issued an urgent directives to the STC’s Command to lift all sit-in camps in front of a gate of the government compound in the province, threatening to use military force.

Dozens of supporters loyal of the STC organized the sit-ins to protest against Socotra governor appointed by the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government.
