Yemeni army repels mercenaries’ attack in Taiz

TAIZ, Nov. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday repelled a large-scale attack carried out by mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in Beir Basha area, left dozens of the mercenaries dead and wounded.

He confirmed that the attackers suffered heavy casualties during their attempt.
