Shura Council discusses financial, economic situations

SANAA, Nov. 2 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Saturday held a meeting, included the joint committee formed from the council’s finance committee and the committee charged by Finance Minister.

The meeting, chaired by the Council’s Speaker Mohammed al-Aidarous, discussed the economic, financial and monetary conditions and the difficulties faced by the state’s public finances due to the continuation of the aggression and siege.

In the meeting, al-Aidarous praised the efforts exerted by the Finance Ministry and its various departments to make optimal and efficient use of all the national economy available resources in these exceptional circumstances.

The meeting dealt with the preliminary perceptions of preparing the Council’s report on the financial and economic situations to come up with the necessary proposals and visions to enhance the governmental and financial performance.
