YPC employees continue to protest in front of UN HQ in Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 2 (YPA) – Yemen Petroleum Company employees continued to protest in front of the United Nations Office in the capital Sanaa for the 30th Friday, entitled” UN is unable to launch oil derivatives tankers”.

The protesters held the United Nation full responsibility of the disaster that will befall the Yemeni People as a result of the continued detention of oil derivatives ships and delaying their arrival at Hodeidah port.

Yemen’s oil company’s spokesman Amin al-Shabbati confirmed that the Saudi-led aggression and its mercenaries are still holding five oil ships with more than 135,000 tons of gasoline and diesel on board.

Al-Shabbati pointed out that the company has prepared efficient and effective programs for the distribution of oil derivatives that have arrived at the port of Hodeidah accurately and in a way that serves and achieves supply stability in all sectors.

Al-Shabbati blamed the Aden Economic Commission for any supply bottlenecks that may occur in the coming days and the negative and catastrophic effects that will result from it because of the statements issued by  the commission.

He added ” it is outrageous to block oil derivatives ships again and  not let them enter the port of Hodeidah”.

The protesters condemned the siege on ports and airports.

The statements renewed the United Nations demand to lift the siege imposed on Sanaa Airport and open the port of Hodeidah, the port of Salif and Ras Issa to oil, pharmaceutical and food vessels.
