Hadi governor declares war on UAE-backed militias in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Nov. 1 (YPA) – Hadi’s governor in the Socotra archipelago announced the end of the deadline for the withdrawal of the UAE’s southern transitional elements from the camps they set up in front of the governmental compound in Hadebo, the provincial capital, since yesterday,  Southern media sources reported on Friday.

According to the sources , the governor of “Hadi” in a press statement, confirmed that the deadline for transitional elements to withdraw from the perimeter of the provincial building, and to lift the military appearances from the city ended, indicating that they will be dealt firmly in the coming hours.

He explained that the Socotrain community and various political and community events have authorized him to confront what he called elements of sabotage, and to impose security, peace and order.

He called on Hadi’s forces on the island not to compromise with those who target the security and stability of the archipelago.

He further calling on all social figures in Socotra to stand by what he called the security and military establishment.

The governor of Hadi in Socotra, on Wednesday gave the groups of the UAE-backed Transitional Council 24 hours to lift their sit-in, directing Hadi’s forces to raise tents, open roads in front of the provincial building, and end armed demonstrations.
