Saudi forces expel official in Hadi’s govt, military leader from Ataq airport

SHABWA, Oct. 31 (YPA)- Saudi forces on Thursday expelled an undersecretary of Shabwa province and commander of the 21st Brigade from Ataq airport and prevented them from entering the airport, informed sources said.

Media sources confirmed that the Saudi forces’ commander at Ataq airport refused to meet Hadi’s government undersecretary in the province Abdulqawi Lamrouq, and the 21st Brigade’s commander loyal to Hadi Mujahdal Hanash al-Ateeqi, and issued a directive not to allow them to enter the airport.

The Saudi forces have taken the airport of Ataq as a military base, after imposing their control over the most important oil fields in the districts of the province, away from the government of Hadi.
