Coalition spy plane shot down in Ras Issa

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Yemeni air defense units shot down a Saudi-led coalition spy plane in Ras Issa district of Hodeidah province, western Yemen, on Wednesday evening.

“The hostile plane was shot down after violating Yemeni airspace and the practice of hostilities in clear violation of Sweden agreement”, said spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesman of the Yemeni army.

This comes two months after the Yemeni armed forces unveiled the two air defense systems Fater1 and Thaqib1, which entered the battle line in 2017 and managed to counter the coalition warplanes.
