Yemen Oil Company: Coalition detains 5 oil ships for 77+ days
SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni Oil Company confirmed that the aggression coalition continues to detain oil vessels for more than 77 days and prevent them from reaching the port of Hodeidah to cover the needs of citizens.
The company said in a statement that the total seized quantities of oil derivatives amounted to (19,718) tons of gasoline and (117,308) tons of diesel.
Observers considered the prevention of entry of ships, despite obtaining permits from the United Nations after the completion of inspection procedures is a further killing of the Yemeni people, who are living the worst humanitarian situation as a result of the aggression.
The observers stressed that resorting to economic warfare, using starvation weapons and seizing oil ships is a crime against humanity and a war crime that requires accountability.
