Health Ministry directs hospitals to provide medical check to citizens for free

SANAA, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health in the Salvation Government on Tuesday directed government and private hospitals in the capital Sanaa and provinces to provide free medical check service to all citizens on the occasion of the Prophet’s birth anniversary.

“The ministry’s directives come out of concern on investing this holy occasion to promote the values of compassion and solidarity brought by the Great Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him),” Minister of the Public Health Dr. Taha al-Mutwakil said in a statement.

Dr. al-Mutwakil added there is also a discount of 30 percent in the value of other medical services for a week, in addition to special discounts to families of martyrs and wounded.
