Islah Party member arrested disguised as woman in Abyan

ABYAN, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The so-called security belt forces backed by the UAE on Monday arrested a man disguised as a woman on a street in the city of Laudar in the occupied province of Abyan, southern Yemen.

Sources reported that a member of Saudi-backed Islah Party came from Shabwa provinces to Laudar city disguised as a woman dressing an abaya (a female cover) and was arrested with several others abayas in his possession.

The investigations revealed that the arrested person had carried out intelligence tasks for the benefit of Islah Party, the sources added.

It is noteworthy that the forces loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia are witnessing an armed conflict in the Yemeni provinces of Abyan, Shabwa and Aden against the background of attempts by each party to extend its influence and control over the occupied southern provinces.
