FM refutes lies of Hadi’s ambassador in Washington

SANAA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Foreign Minister of the Salvation Government Hisham Sharaf on Sunday refuted the lies contained in a statement issued by Hadi’s ambassador in Washington “bin Mubarak” regarding Sanaa International Airport.

Sharaf said that bin Mubarak “is trying to mislead the growing world public opinion against the war on Yemen and the continued closure of the airport by Saudi-led coalition.”

He stressed that “re-opening of the airport is purely humanitarian issue and not related to any political or military victory.”

The Foreign Minister explained that the United Nations flights that arrive almost daily to Sanaa International Airport refuted bin Mubarak’s statement altogether.

He confirmed that “the international community has become more aware of the absurdity of this war, which has left behind the worst humanitarian catastrophe the world has known in modern times.”
