Army foils three infiltrations of Saudi-backed militias in Asir

ASIR, April 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army  fighters on Monday were able to repulse three infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militias in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Saudi-backed militias renewed their attempts to advance towards Thuban area off Alib crossing point and it was the third one but was repelling by the Yemeni army fighters,  killing and injuring dozens of them, the official said.

Military vehicles belonging to Saudi-backed militias were destroyed during their failed attempts to progress, the official added.
