Minister of Fisheries demands UN to protect Yemeni fishermen from coalition attacks

SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – Fisheries Minister Mohammed Mohammed Zubairi on Saturday demanded in a statement the United Nations to take action to protest the Yemeni fishers from the Saudi-led aggression coalition attacks.

The minister confirmed, “Completion of the implementation of the five ceasefire monitoring points in Hodeidah is a positive step for Yemeni fishermen to resume their activities freely in various coastal areas.”

The statement explained that aggression fighter jets targeted and prevented the Yemeni fishermen from carrying out their activities daily with boats and some others were arrested and tortured by aggression mercenaries in a flagrant violation of the humanitarian law.
