UNFPA stresses on expanding operations, programs in Yemen

SANAA, Oct 26 (YPA) – Head of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Shoko Arakaki on Saturday confirmed that the Fund seeks to expand its operations and programs in Yemen.

Arakaki affirmed, in a press conference, that the Fund would continue to provide the health care for Motherhood and Childhood.

She stressed on the impotence to convey the voice and suffering of Yemeni women abroad due to the war.

The UNFPA’s official explained that UNFPA worked to help and provide the health care for women that suffer from difficulties during pregnancy and childbirth.
