Bodyguard of Security director killed in assassination operation in Hadhramaut

HADHRAMAUT, Oct. 25 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and two others were wounded when unidentified gunmen carried out an assassination operation targeting the personal guard of the Security director in the District of Qattn in Hadhramaut province, local sources reported on Thursday.

According to the sources, the unidentified gunmen assassinated the bodyguard of the security director, Saeed Abdullah al-Obthani, in the Qattn directorate of Hadramaut Valley

The gunmen also opened fire at Abdulqadir bin Tahir, a medical assistant at the Qatton Hospital, and another person at the Hanin junction while they were on car,

The victims were taken to the hospital, one of the sources said.

The Hadramaut Valley , which is under the control of the so-called First Military Zone forces of the Muslim Brotherhood militias, is witnessing a major breakdown, in which many citizens of the province were killed.
