MSF hints at suspending its humanitarian mission in Taiz

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Doctors Without Borders (MSF) organization on Saturday said the acts of violence in the field hospitals supported by MSF threaten seriously the continuation of its work in the province of Taiz.

“The exchange of fire between gunmen inside the emergency room in the Public Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz city yesterday (Friday, October 18) resulted in the killing of a patient and the injuring of one of medical staff,” the organization said in a tweet Saturday evening.

The organization expressed its condemnation and concern over the violence experienced by patients and doctors in the hospital.
