UN official accuses coalition of obstructing access for humanitarian aid to Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Mark Lowcock accused the Saudi-led aggression coalition of obstructing access for humanitarian aid to civilians in Yemen.

Lowcock, addressing the UN Security Council on Thursday, said,” The indicators of the economy in Yemen should be concerned for everyone because they are moving towards real famine,”

He added that Yemen imports almost everything, noting that millions of people can’t buy the basic commodities due to doubling its prices.
