Agriculture Minister affirms doubling efforts to support agricultural sector in al-Mahwit

AL-MAHWIT, Oct. 16 (YPA) – Minister of Agriculture Abdul Malik al-Thaur affirmed on Wednesday the ministry’s readiness to support the agricultural sector in al-Mahwit province.

The minister, during his visit to the province, said,”We will exert more efforts to improve the agricultural activities by backing farmers in the field of beekeeping and farming coffee for alleviating suffering of citizens as a result of Saudi-led aggression and siege on Yemen.”

Al-Thaur confirmed his ministry is preparing to study and put several projects that contribute to improve agricultural production and support of livestock.
