AL-MAHRAH, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Employees of educational sector in Yemen’s eastern province of al-Mahrah announced on Tuesday an open strike until further notice, sources said.
The sources that the financial corruption exerted by al-Mahrah governor appointed by Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government led the province to financial deficit and prevented payment of teachers’ salaries four months ago.
The employees accused the governor Rajeh Bakrit of looting 15 billion riyals from land and sea outlets’revenues.
