Islah militias arrest Al-Ghad Al-Mashreq channel’s reporter in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Saudi-backed forces (Islah party militias) on Thursday kidnapped the southern journalist Jamal Schneiter and took him to an unknown destination, local sources reported on Friday.

According to the sources, Hadi forces and the Islah party militias arrested the southern journalist Jamal Schneiter at the Al-Hawta Junction of Azzan checkpoint in Shabwah.

He is the director of Shabwah Transition’s media department and Al Ghad Mashreq Channel’s reporter.

This is a violation of the freedom of journalism that Islah praises throughout these years.
