Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed wins Nobel Peace Prize

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – The Swedish Academy on Friday awarded the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for his efforts to achieve peace and international cooperation.

Last year, Ethiopia reached a landmark deal with Eritrea to end a 20-year dispute after their border war between 1998-2000.
