Several Palestinians injured during Israeli’s incursion into Tomb of Joseph in Nablus

SANAA, Oct. 7 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus early on Monday as part of securing the entry of 1,100 settlers into The Tomb of Joseph in the city amid clashes during which a number of Palestinian youths, including a photographer, were injured.

According to Palestinian sources, among the intruders were Economy Minister Elie Cohen, Samaria Settlement Council Chairman Yossi Dagan and Knesset member Moshe Erbil.

The vicinity of The Tomb of Joseph, east of Nablus, witnessed violent clashes after the occupying forces stormed the city from several axes, securing the way for hundreds of settlers to enter the area of the tomb under heavy military guard.

During the clashes, five Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets, while dozens of citizens were suffocated after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters.
