903 medical facilities affected due to lack of oil derivatives: Health official

SANAA, Oct. 6 (YPA) – 903 private medical facilities are being affected due to the lack of oil derivatives as a result of the ongoing siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition on oil tankers, according to a Health Ministry spokesman on Sunday.

The spokesman Yousef al-Hadri said in a statement that the coalition’s ongoing siege on the Yemen people is a collective punishment to create a health disaster.

Al-Hadri added the health services provided by the private sector to more than 60% of the population, especially in light of the conditions experienced by Yemen.

He reiterated that arbitrary actions taken by the aggression coalition in preventing and hindering the oil tankers from entering to Hodeidah port aim at pushing the hundreds of thousands of the Yemeni patients to the death and increasing the suffering of the citizens.
