Yemeni army launches offensive in Jawf

JAWF, Oct. 3 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on   Friday carried out a large offensive operation on the positions of Saudi-led aggression mercenaries in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the mercenaries  were killed and wounded in the attack, which took place in Sala’an area  of al- Maslub district.

The official confirmed that the army forces destroyed and burned  the mercenrires’ fortifications and ramparts.
