UAE-backed security services arrest cell involved in Aden assassinations

ADEN, Oct. 4 (YPA) – Security services loyal to the United Arab Emirates in the occupied province of Aden said on Thursday they arrested a cell composed of three elements involved in assassinations occurred in the province.

The UAE-backed security services explained that the terrorist cell affiliated to the terrorist organization “Daesh”, and published confessions of a member of the cell named Mohammed Othman, who said he had engaged in three assassinations in Aden.

Security sources reported that the cell was receiving support and financing for its criminal operations from Saudi intelligence members who are in Aden province.

The sources referred that the security services in Aden have already accused the Saudi intelligence agents of implementing and financing assassinations in Aden during the past two months.

The sources considered the arrest of the terrorist cell a strong blow from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh.
