Transitional council’s militia arrest businessman after storming his house in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Militia of the so-called southern Transitional Council loyal to the UAE at dawn on Thursday a businessman’s house in Aden city, southern Yemen, and took him to an unknown destination, sources reported.

The militias stormed the house of businessman Samir Ahmed Hassan al-Qutaibi, who works as a customs broker for a number of commercial companies, and arrested him before looting his house contents, according to the sources.

Since the takeover of Aden’s institutions, the Abu Dhabi-backed Transitional Council militias have raided homes of opponents from leaders and officials loyal to Hadi’s government and looted their contents, in addition to arresting and liquidating dozens of those leaders.
