Mohammed Abdul Salam meets in Oman with UN envoy for Yemen

SANAA, Oct. 2 (YPA) – The head of the national negotiating delegation Mohammed Abdul Salam met on Wednesday with UN envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths in the capital of Oman, Muscat.

At the meeting, Abdul Salam discussed with Griffiths about the latest of the political, humanitarian and economic developments and the possible means to open Sanaa International Airport.

The officials stressed on the importance of the unimpeded entry of the humanitarian aid and urgent economic solutions and the need to response rapidly by the aggression countries to the presidential initiative.

Abdel Salam and Griffiths reviewed areas of comprehensive political solution, especially in light of the military, humanitarian and political failures made by the aggression countries.
