PM discusses Human Rights Ministry’s activities

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Sunday met with Human Rights Minister Alia Faisal Abdullatif, who briefed him on the ministry’s activities during the past period and its plan for this year.

The meeting discussed the human rights situation in Yemen and the efforts exerted by the ministry towards human rights issues in light of the aggression and war crimes committed against civilians, including children, women and the elderly, as well as the catastrophic repercussions of the siege on the basic rights of the Yemeni citizen.

The meeting dealt with the Ministry efforts at the national and international level to expose the serious violations suffered by citizens, including citizens of the provinces and areas controlled by Saudi and Emirati occupiers, through its periodic and annual reports.

It was touched, during the meeting, on international humanitarian relief efforts to reduce the suffering of the Yemeni people.
