Coalition air strikes destroy 165 antiquarian facilities: Tourism Minister

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Ali said in a statement that the Saudi-led coalition’s warplanes have destroyed 165 tourist and antiquarian sites since the beginning of the war on Yemen.

The minister said that foreign tourism has stopped because of the war and the blockade imposed by the coalition on Yemen for more than five years, which lead to hit the national economy.

He called on the United Nations and international organizations to exert efforts to protect Yemen’s historic cities and antiquarian sites from targeting and destruction.
