Russian military experts arrive in Venezuela

SANAA, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Nicolas Maduro, the president of Venezuela, has announced the arrival of Russian military experts in his country.

President Nicolas Maduro has visited Moscow a few days ago, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On his meeting with President Putin,Nicolas Maduro said: “President Putin has reaffirmed his political, diplomatic and military support for Venezuela… Support arrived a few days ago… Two planes carrying the cadres of the Technical Military Support Committee landed.”

Maduro said the planes carried a new team of Russian military technicians to replace their colleagues who arrived in Venezuela at the beginning of the year and returned to Russia aboard the two planes that carried the new team.

President Putin said that technical military cooperation between Russia and Venezuela was focused on providing technical services to The Russian military equipment acquired by Venezuela.
